The establishment of Calpis Osotspa Co,.Ltd

Ratch Osathanugrah, executive chairman of Osotspa Co,.Ltd and Mr. Fujio Yamada, president of Calpis Co,.Ltd, Japan, announced the collaboration between Calpis Co,.Ltd Japan and Osotspa Co,.Ltd under the new company establishment “Calpis Osotspa Co,.Ltd” to be in charge of the manufacturing, distribution and sales for all Calpis beverages in Thailand
“Calpis is one of the leading beverage companies in Japan, with strong performance and new innovative technology applied in manufacturing. Besides, Osotspa has the strength as the brand leader in certain beverage segments in Thailand, expertise in manufacturing, distinctive marketing, powerful communication and distribution network. Combining strengths and capabilities of both companies, the new company will deliver further added value, sustain the stronger foundation, and achieve the business growth together in Thailand, also prepare for the future AEC’s market. This collaboration has been effective since March 2013.” Ratch said.
Calpis Osotspa Co,. Ltd will be under the management of Mr. Yoshikazu Nammoto, president, and Mr. Masaaki Yasui, vice president.
Mr. Yoshikazu Nammoto mentioned, “Calpis Japan was established in 1917, has entered into Thailand’s business since 1997 under ACBT ( Ajinomoto Calpis Beverage Thailand ) and launched its first product “Calpico soda”. Apparently Calpis Co,.Ltd has expanded business in many countries, established office branch in China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, The United States, Europe and Thailand which we see the high business opportunity of the beverage market.
