Osotspa Public Company Limited and House Osotspa Foods Co., Ltd, the license owner of the C-vitt brand joined together to continue to expand distribution channels by partnering with CPF Restaurant and Food Chain Co., Ltd. which operates the Five-Star business. Through this new business opportunity, C-vitt will be available at all Five Star branches nationwide giving consumers the chance to have a tasty, healthy meal while expanding to a broader customer base in different age groups.

Mr. Sunthorn Jaksukan, Senior Vice President of CPF Restaurant and Food Chain Co., Ltd., said that Five-Star is Thailand’s number one, best-selling delicatessen business which features a variety of fresh, safe, and tasty products at reasonable prices along with great service and easily accessible locations. There are currently over 4,300 franchises nationwide for all groups of customers. The current partnership is set to be an important stepping stone for Five-Star by distributing its partner’s beverage brand, as C-vitt, a popular Vitamin C drink, will appeal to consumers who want to have a healthy drink with a delicious meal. In this regard, the “Five–Star Pairing” campaign was launched to offer a tasty and healthy experience to consumers.

Mr. Sarayut Jitcharoongphorn, Chief Customer Development Officer – Thailand for Osotspa Public Company Limited, a leading Thailand-based consumer products manufacturer and distributor, said that Osotspa is ready to solidify the company’s leading status in the vitamin drink market through the C-vitt brand while pursuing a unique opportunity to match Osotspa’s drink business with a food business building more comprehensive distribution channels. The ‘Five-Star Pairing’ campaign was therefore launched in parallel with Five-Star which is a longstanding and well-regarded brand among Thais with a growing customer base nationwide. The campaign allows C-vitt consumers to pair C-vitt with tasty Five-Star chicken while building a new distribution channel that meets consumers’ current lifestyles. The partnership is also expected to expand both C-vitt and Five-Star’s customer bases and empower C-vitt as the favorite everyday drink among Thai consumers. Osotspa plans to build awareness for the campaign through marketing communications and supportive media plans to boost sales and build growth momentum in the functional drinks market thereby strengthening the brand’s stature.

C-vitt is Thailand’s first vitamin C drink which was developed from a Japanese brand. C-vitt was developed to facilitate consumers’ Vitamin C consumption as a convenient alternative to citrus fruits to get a sufficient daily dose. Vitamin C provides multiple benefits: It enhances the immune system, contains antioxidants that help build collagen and repairs various tissues in the body. C-vitt is therefore an ideal drink that ticks all the right boxes meeting ongoing health trends. C-vitt ranks as one of the best-selling brands among consumers in the drink products category, coming number one in sales with a 32% market share in the functional drinks market.

Designated marketing activities as part of the ‘Five-Star Pairing’ campaign include a 100,000-bottle giveaway of C-vitt for people to experience its great taste. Consumers who purchase 145 baht in black pepper chicken will get a free bottle of C-vitt starting today. C-vitt will be available for sale at all participating branches of Five-Star Chicken nationwide from December 1, 2020. The new offering includes Osotspa’s other products such as M-150 giving more choice to consumers.
