Osotspa Reorganizs and Adds Two Independent Directors to Boost Operational Strengths

Mr. Surin Osathanugrah, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Osotspa Public Company Limited, Thailand's leading manufacturer and distributor of consumer products, reports that the meeting of the Board of Directors on June 16, 2021, has passed a resolution to appoint two new independent directors.

Mr. Charamporn Jotikasthira and General Surapong Suwana-adth are both highly qualified, experienced and widely regarded. Their involvement will strengthen the company, and they will help develop a vision that will benefit company operations now and in the future. Their inclusion will increase the number of members of the board from 15 to 17. The company will hold an E-EGM meeting to report to the shareholders for consideration and approval on August 5, 2021.

In addition, the board meeting has resolved to introduce a new organizational structure. Mr. Thana Chaiprasit becomes Senior Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee. He previously served as acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mrs. Wannipa Bhakdibutr, formerly President, is appointed the new CEO due to her extensive professional experience in strengthening and shaping the direction of Osotspa during the past 5 years. The position of president is abolished for the purpose of boosting operational efficiency.

Mrs. Porntida Boonsa is moved up to become the Chief Operating Officer and Group Chief Financial Officer. She will take on the responsibility of directing the operational departments and supervising the financial and accounting departments of the Osotspa Group of Companies. Mrs. Porntida is highly experienced and has been intimately involved in the company’s production and supply chain for the past 2 years.

The new organizational structure will be in effect starting July 22, 2021.

The addition of new independent directors and the company’s new structure will strengthen Osotspa’s overall operations. The reorganization of the Board of Directors as well as the Executive Committee has benefited from the expertise and experience of professional executive members with a vision to lead Osotspa to achieve sustainable growth.
