Osotspa Selected to Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI) 2021 List

Osotspa Public Company Limited (OSP) is one of 146 listed companies in Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI) 2021 list (agriculture and food industry), announced by the Stock Exchange of Thailand. This reflects its emphasis on environment, social responsibility and good governance (ESG), in accordance with sustainable development guidelines.

Through the commitment to enhancing sustainable living, Osotspa operates the business with sustainability principles with an aim to achieve long-term profitable growth. Such growth is generated by supporting the health and well-being of consumers through its quality products. Sustainability has been actively integrated into Osotspa’s core corporate strategy, helping set a solid foundation for resilient business growth while readying the Company for new challenges and opportunities amidst the increasingly volatile business environment. Osotspa’s sustainability objectives revolve around a 3+1 core pillars strategy that reflects the commitment to a better future for all stakeholders. Those pillars are: 1) Business Pillar which focuses on creating sustainable growth for Osotspa's business and its partners in the value chain 2) Social Pillar which aims to create good health for consumers through quality products, encourage employees to grow together with the Company and create sustainability for the community through projects aimed to improve and enhance the quality of life for people in society. 3) Environmental Pillar which is determined to reduce the environmental impact from the production process and consumption through many projects, such as the project "Bottle to Bottle," promoting the recycling of used glass bottles as raw materials for new bottle production, water management in the production process, reduction in water consumption in operations and reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. These three pillars have “People” within the organization as the key force to achieve the goals.

Furthermore, this year Osotspa has implemented the 5-year sustainability roadmap (2020-2025), which includes reducing environmental impact, creating good health and well-being for consumers as well as creating sustainable growth in the value chain, by sourcing raw materials from sustainable sources to replace imported material with domestic herbal products and changing the packaging of all affiliated products to recyclable ones.

In the year 2021, although various sectors have been faced with challenges from the COVID-19 outbreak situation, focusing on agility, Osotspa was able to adapt to those changes effectively, while continuously aiding society in many dimensions. Osotspa practices during the COVID-19 pandemic are in parallel with the SET’s guidelines, including dealing with the epidemic situation through applying New Normal factors such as digital transformation and changes in consumer behavior to consideration as a part of Emerging Risk in order to adapt and meet future challenges, along with giving importance to the health and safety of employees to maintain business continuity and operational efficiency as well as helping the society and stakeholders, both customers and partners, to overcome the situation together.

Being selected to the Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI) 2021 list is a confirmation of the responsibility and commitment to creating sustainability for business, stakeholders, society and environment throughout the past 130 years of Osotspa's business operation and its readiness to continuously develop and sustainably grow with Thai society.
