Osotspa Is Listed on Sustainability Index and Wins Awards that Guarantee Its Excellence in 5 Areas, Accentuating Success from Sustainable Business Operations

Osotspa accentuates the success from sustainable business operations, as it is listed on the sustainability index and wins awards that guarantee its excellence in various areas, including business management & marketing, manufacturing management, human resource management, good corporate governance as well as environmental and social responsibility.

Mrs. Wannipa Bhakdibutr, Chief Executive Officer of Osotspa Public Company Limited, Thailand's leading manufacturer and distributor of consumer products, revealed that in 2022, Osotspa adhered to the principles of sustainability in its business so as to manage risk and opportunity across economic, social, and environmental aspects. With a commitment to long-term profitable growth and promotion of consumer well-being, the Company focuses on delivering high-quality products and laying a solid foundation to prepare for upcoming challenges and new opportunities. It also develops a resilient business that thrives even in volatile business environments. As a result, the Company was able to operate as planned and won awards in various fields.

Excellence in Business Management and Marketing Osotspa won major marketing awards. It received Thailand Corporate Excellence Award 2022 for Marketing Excellence, organized by the Thailand Management Association (TMA) in collaboration with Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University. Stressing its leadership in the beverage market, its two flagship brands, the M-150 brand and the C-vitt brand, won The Most Powerful Brands of Thailand 2022 award in the energy drinks and functional drinks category respectively.

Excellence in Manufacturing Management Osotspa set up a digitization team who adopted various technologies and innovations to adjust work processes and support the corporate’s agility and continuous learning culture with an aim to improve the efficiency and potential of manufacturing management. Its determination was recognized with Thailand Digital Transformation Award 2022 in the Operation Transform Thailand category, which is given to organizations that adopt digital transformation. The Company also received the Kaizen Award 2022 in the Genba Kaizen category (bronze level). This award, organized by the Technology Promotion Association (Thai-Japanese), is given to organizations that use creativity and Kaizen principles to manage and develop the manufacturing process efficiently.

Excellence in Human Resource Management Osotspa has received the Best Companies to Work for in Asia for two consecutive years in favor of its holistic human resource management that includes building a happy organization, developing employees’ knowledge and competence, cultivating a culture of agility, and fostering a good working culture and atmosphere. Moreover, the Company implements a hybrid work model that provides employees with agility and allows employees to determine their own schedule to work remotely or in-office. Excellence in Good Corporate Governance Management based on ESG principles enabled Osotspa to be ranked in the list of Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI) 2022. Osotspa also received a 5-star rating or ‘Excellent’ score on the Corporate Governance Report (CGR) of Thai Listed Companies 2021 by the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD) in collaboration with the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). In addition, Osotspa received the ASEAN Asset Class PLCs Award of The 2021 ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) project, as it passed the assessment to be one of the listed companies in ASEAN that meet international standards. The 2021 ACGS project is sponsored by the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF) and the Asian Development Bank in collaboration with the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD).

Excellence in Environmental and Social Responsibility Osotspa focuses on resource management and follows the circular economy principle to reduce environmental impact. The Company also carries on giving back to society, especially improving the life of the disabled with the concept of “teaching a man to fish to feed him for a lifetime". The Company has provided them with vocational training as well as marketing and branding assistance to help them build their sustainable future. Osotspa has set up a new model that others can follow and has been recognized by various parties. The Company received the Sustainability Model Organization in the Thai Capital Market Award for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities 2022" (Outstanding Level), by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) together with the Ministry of Labor, Department of Skill Development, Department of Employment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Thai Listed Companies Association and Disabilities Thailand. Osotspa was also entitled with the "Outstanding Organization in Supporting the Disabled of the Year 2022," by the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security. Furthermore, the Company received the certificate and the honorary pin as a leading organization with responsibility to sustainability of the “PackBack Project: Returning Packaging for Sustainable Days," which promotes the principle of EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) or expanding the responsibility of the manufacturer to the network of recycling post-consumption packaging.
