Osotspa Supports Dental Prosthesis Royal Project with Power to Enhance Life of Elderly in Saraburi

Osotspa PCL., represented by Mr.Thana Chaiprasit, Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee, presented a donation of 889,000 Baht to Saraburi Deputy Governor Kiattisak Trongsiri to support the dental prosthesis royal project in Saraburi province at Pramonpalasin Hall, Royal Thai Army Cavalry Center, Saraburi.

“Without tooth, we do not enjoy eating. This makes us unhappy, uncomfortable and unhealthy,” said the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej . King Bhumibol Adulyadej cared for the senior people suffering from tooth loss. As a result, the dental prosthesis royal project was established by the Ministry of Public Health. The ministry has continually operated the dental prosthesis royal project since 2005, seeing that the elderly need special healthcare, especially their oral health. Dentures replace lost teeth and improve chewing ability, bringing them better health, happiness and good living through the rest of their lives.

Osotspa PCL. and Osotspa Foundation support King Bhumibol’s intention by continually sponsoring the dental prosthesis royal project to make the elderly happy and healthy. Osotspa makes a donation in the amount of 889,000 Baht in 2018 to provide dentures to 127 senior people in Saraburi province. Until now, Osotspa has given the dentures to the senior citizens in need in remote area for 10 years (since 2008). The fitting dentures, with total value of 15,733,000 Baht, were given to 2,727 seniors in 27 provinces nationwide.

Mr.Thana Chaiprasit, Osotspa’s Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee, said that “Osotspa is committed to help and support Thai society. We realize that healthiness contributes to sustainable growth. To be the power to enhance life, we have continually sponsored social activities related to medical service and public health, including the dental prosthesis royal project, which directly relieves oral problems and brings better living to the elderly. It helps improve their chewing and speaking ability as well as their looks, causing emotional and social improvement.”
