Khon Kaen Province Again Honors Osotspa for Generating Welfare Among the Disabled

Osotspa Public Company Limited has recently received a plaque in honor of the organization that creates welfare among the disabled for the second consecutive year. At the event, Ms. Sutida Siamharn, Head of Corporate Communication and CSR, as a representative of Osotspa, accepted the plaque from Mr. Woratas Thuleechan, Deputy Governor of Khon Kaen province, in the event of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities in Khon Kaen province.

In the event, Osotspa was invited to join a special talk on "Create participation and Reinforce leadership towards the sustainable development goals of 2030, we will leave no one behind. " As a private sector, Osotspa has driven job creation and career development through the job training project which complies to the law on promotion and development of people with disabilities (Section 35) over 3 years. The project aims to create a career under the concept of "Teach a man to fish, to feed him for a lifetime." to provide the disable with goals and sustainable life in collaboration with a network of skilled Physical Therapist and communities in all 7 districts, namely Ubonrat District, Chum Phae District, Nam Phong District, Si Chom District, Phu Wiang District, Mancha Khiri District and Muang District, Khon Kaen Province. Our project started from focusing on individual career to knowledge sharing. Now, the participating disabled person has changed from a receiver to a giver by passing on their knowledge among the disabled themselves. During the discussion, Mr. Sompan San-ngeon, a former electrician from our project who became disabled after an accident at work shared about the opportunity from Osotspa that gave him knowledge and provided carpentry professional equipment after three years without occupation. Through his determination and willpower, Mr. Sompan is now the giver, as he can now teach and pass on knowledge to others His dedication has been reflecting from the positive feedback of his work under the brand “Yoo Dee”. Mr. Sompan case is another inspiration and pride of Osotspa.

All products from the project were being shown at the event under the brand "Gin Dee", organic vegetables, "Yoo Dee", furniture and physical therapy tools and "Handy" brand, fashion products, woven plastic bags and hats. They received a lot of attention from the event participants. The event was recently held at Central Plaza Khon Kaen.
